- GIMP: Image manipulation program
- Ardour: powerfull DAW
Media
- MPV: lightweight media player
- Qtractor: lightweight midi tracker
- icecast: lightweight media streaming server
- ezstream: lightweight client for icecast
Writing
- Vim: powerfull text editor based on Vi (can be used as an IDE)
