My First DOOM Wad

The origins

This was made in October 2024, I think I had it published on my website at the time, but then I posted it on doomworld.com in April 2025. Eventually I deleted my website on based.pt and remade it here on bacalhau.based.pt.

The Wad

This is a very simple vanilla Doom 2 wad. I got some positive comments on it and a few negatives saying it had too many pinkies, now I can't stop thinking about the pinkies... But still, I personally don't think its a bad wad, you can definitely enjoy it.

The map might be somewhat hard for some people and easy for others, I think it might have to do with the hours you put into doom in general, personally I found it pretty hard but I got good at it.

Closing thoughts

So that's about it, I made this using slade, which is peak software and also available on gentoo linux. I will definitely make more of these in the future, especially after I finish my exams
