Introduction

Hello, I made this website to share my thoughts, ideas, projects and whatever else I might think about writing. I enjoy a wide variety of topics from tech to nature. I use Gentoo Linux as my operating system and I have a Baikal ИЖ-27. I'm also a big fan of self-hosting, having built a 200€ 14 core Xeon machine (full specs on based.pt).

Why Bacalhau?

I chose the alias "bacalhauseco" (meaning "Dried Codfish") back in 2019. I was 14 at the time, and it just popped into my head when I was picking a username. I've used other aliases since then, but none of them stuck with me quite like "bacalhau".
